This Injection should be given in the muscles. It should be given at an interval of 1 ½ to 2 months, thrice. A booster injection should be given at the age of 15 months to 18months. This injection will prevent the infection of the membranes of the brain by that particular bacteria alone. SO, after giving this injection nobody can claim that the baby will not suffer from brain infection. Besides, this bacteria there are many number of Viruses, Bacteria & fungus can cause brain fever and Infection.

Chickenpox vaccine also has to be given after 1 year of age. This injection is to be injected beneath the skin. One injection of chickenpox vaccine will give protection against this dreadful disease.
