Aruba an independent country, is a Caribbean island 15 miles north of the coast of Venezuela, and is one of the four “countries” that together form the Kingdom of the Netherlands, along with the Netherlands, Curacao, and Sint Maarten. Together with Bonaire and Curacao, Aruba forms a group referred to as the ABC islands. This flat island with no rivers is renowned for its white sand beaches.
