1. Sometime skin gets boils due to some bacteria.
2. If there are one or two yellowish blisters on the skin antibiotic creams should be applied over it.
3. If there are plenty of boils over the body after consulting a doctor antibiotics medicines should be given. Nails of the children with boils should be trimmed and asked to avoid scratching.
4. Children complaining leg pain in the night times is common. This is called as ‘Growing pain’
5. Definite cause for the growing pain is not known. It is thought to be due to the growth of the bones.
6. Such children can have gentle massage or hot fomentation. If pain is too much pain killers can be given.
7. While playing if child’s tooth is broken or falls, that tooth should be kept in a cup of milk and a dentist should be consulted.
8. At the site of fall of tooth pressure should be given for 5-10 minutes till the bleeding arrests.
9. While bleeding child should be made to sit straight which will help to reduce the swelling and bleeding.
10. Parotid gland is one of the salivary gland. If it is infected by virus and swollen it is called ‘Mumps’.  This disease is rare in children below one year.
