  1. At 1 month it turns to the sound of bell or rattle. At 8-9 months says ma-ma, da-da. At 1 year speaks 2 words.  At 1 ½ years speaks up to 20 words.  At 21-24 months speaks simple sentences.
  2. At the age of 1 year, child will try to wear its chappals and falls.  At 2 years it will wear its chappals at its own.  By 3 years it will learn to dress and undress its clothes.
  3. There are many reasons for the behaviour problems in children. Parents should try to avoid those reasons.
  4. The reasons are frequent quarrelling of parents, death in the family, loss of job of parent, birth of the child is considered as a bad omen and the child is neglected, overprotection of the child, comparison of the child with other children and mocking at the child, much importance given to the male children and neglecting female children, high ambitions about their children to achieve will all lead to the behaviour problems.
  5. There are many reasons for children becoming juvenile delinquents. They are learning to steal in the young age itself, run away from the house, learning rowdyism, uncontrollable behaviour and also involving in sexual crimes.  Parents, friends, peer groups, family members are responsible for these behaviours.  If there is pitfalls in the behaviour of the above said people, children will follow it fastly.
  6. Strong scents, facial creams may be allergic to children.
  7. Some children may be allergic to the eyeliners, copper or other metals which are used as ornaments. So, it is better to make them to wear ornaments made up of gold or silver.
  8. Childhood asthma may be due to many allergens. It is better to avoid these allergens.  Food allergens are: ghee, butter, curd, tomato, potato, fish, egg and wheat.
  9. External or extrinsic allergens are house dust, tobacco, smoke, cotton, cool breeze, pollens of flowers, hair and saliva of pet animals.
  10. Which medicine is allergic to a child is difficult to say. Generally, Penicillin, Sulphonamide, Aspirin are the commonest drugs which are responsible for allergy.
