1. It is due to excessive oil secretion from the sweat gland.
2. This usually disappears from 6-12 months. This is called as ‘Cradle cap’.
3. Babies with this cradle cap should have wash of the head frequently.
4. Soft brush or gentle comb should be used to remove the skin flakes.
5. After applying oil to the scalp skin and once the skin flakes peels shampoo bath should be given to the children.
6. Children playing near the electrical points or electrical appliances should be carefully watched.
7. If a child is exposed to electric shock electricity should be cut off immediately.
8. If it is not so, objects where in electric current does not pass should be used to remove the contact. Those objects will be piece of wood, chair, woollen rug or rubber.
9. While doing so, wet objects or metallic objects should not be used.
10. Children while having contact with electricity should not be pulled with bare hands.
