World Chocolate Day or International Chocolate Day is celebrated every year on July 7 with joy all over the world. The word “chocolate” comes from the Classical Nahuatl word chocolatl, and entered the English language from Spanish.
The history of chocolate goes back to 4000 years which begins in Mesoamerica. The Mesoamericans were the first to cultivate cacao plants in the tropical rainforests of Central America. Chocolate comes from cocoa beans. In sixteenth century it become popular in Europe.
